Concord waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Maple Valley Lions. The Yellowjackets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Concord took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-15, 25-14.

Annie Saenz paced Concord's offense, picking up 15 kills. Saenz got some help from Bradie Lehman and her 27 assists. Lehman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Concord's win bumped their record up to 8-4-1. As for Maple Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Concord will head out on the road to square off against Stockbridge at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Maple Valley and Reading will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
