Basketball Game Recap: Central Falcons vs. Brookwood Panthers

If Brookwood wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Central, they should've done a better job of containing Lariah Spencer. The Central Falcons came out on top against the Brookwood Panthers by a score of 58-45 on Thursday thanks in part to Spencer, who went 5 of 6 en route to 15 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Central's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 15-10. As for Brookwood, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-9.

Central has already played their next match, a 46-43 win against Hale County on the 24th. As for Brookwood, they will be playing at home against Northside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
