Soccer Game Preview: Swansboro vs. Croatan

The Swansboro Pirates will venture away from home to face off against the Croatan Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Swansboro's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Swansboro is headed into Tuesday's game following a draw, the team's first since March 18. Neither they nor White Oak could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Croatan played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against Havelock.

With that draw, Croatan's record moves to 6-5-5. Meanwhile, Swansboro's record is now 8-3-5.

Swansboro was able to grind out a solid victory over Croatan in their previous matchup on April 4th, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
