Volleyball Game Preview: Orem Tigers vs. Timpanogos Timberwolves

The Orem Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Timpanogos Timberwolves at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Orem is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Orem is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Mountain View, who was ranked 14th at the time (Orem was ranked third). The Tigers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bruins on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 26-28, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Timpanogos made easy work of Summit Academy on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Timpanogos took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-10, 25-15.

Orem's record is now 22-3. As for Timpanogos, their record now sits at 7-20.

Orem took their win against Timpanogos when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
