Soccer Recap: Midwest City Comes Up Short

Midwest City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Memorial Chargers, falling 11-1. While losing is never fun, Midwest City can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma soccer rankings (they are ranked 106th, while Memorial are ranked 35th).

Midwest City's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Memorial, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Midwest City will venture away from home to square off against Booker T. Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Memorial has already played their next match (against East Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
