After flying high against McAllen Memorial last Saturday, McAllen came back down to earth. The McAllen Bulldogs fell just short of the Sharyland Rattlers by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

McAllen took Sharyland into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 19-25, 17-25, 15-10.
