Soccer Recap: St. Clair Comes Up Short

St. Clair was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils. That's two games in a row now that St. Clair have lost by just one goal.

St. Clair's loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Grosse Pointe South, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5-1.

St. Clair has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Chippewa Valley on the 23rd. As for Grosse Pointe South, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against Lakeview on the 23rd.
