Volleyball Recap: West Takes a Loss

West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Briggs Bruins, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 3rd.

While West was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-10, 25-22.

West's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Briggs, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3.

West has already played their next matchup (against Marion-Franklin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Briggs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Walnut Ridge on the 2nd.
