Flag Football Game Preview: Wakefield Wolverines vs. Heritage Huskies

The Wakefield Wolverines will head out on the road to take on the Heritage Huskies at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Wakefield's defense has only allowed 0.9 points per game this season, so Heritage's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Heritage's offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Monday: Wakefield hadn't allowed a single point the last ten times they've hit the field. The Wolverines strolled past Athens Drive with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 14-0. Those 14 points were actually the fewest the Wolverines have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Wakefield found their leader in sophomore Quinn Pope, who threw for 172 yards and one touchdown while completing 90.5% of her passes, and also rushed for 30 yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Heritage fell victim to Wake Forest and their airtight defense last Wednesday. They took a 12-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wakefield's victory bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Heritage, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
