Volleyball Recap: Northern Adirondack Takes a Loss

If Northern Adirondack was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Northeastern Clinton last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats lost 3-0 to the Saranac Spartans on Tuesday. The Bobcats have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Northern Adirondack still got an impressive performance from Kendel Chapple, who had 11 digs, six kills, and two aces. Chapple has been hot recently, having posted six or more kills the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Allison LaPoint, who had eight digs and three blocks.

Northern Adirondack's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Saranac, their victory ended a seven-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Northern Adirondack is set to take on their familiar foe Saranac Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Saranac will face off against rival Beekmantown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
