Needles came tearing into Tuesday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Laughlin Cougars get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Audrina Bullchild made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Edey Ponce, who went 1-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Micayla Ortiz was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.

Needles hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three strikeouts batters in four consecutive contests.

Needles pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Laughlin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
