Baseball Recap: Red Hook Raiders vs. Taconic Hills Titans
Red Hook proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 19) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Taconic Hills Titans 8-7. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered an 11-7 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Luca Friedman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Friedman was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
