Volleyball Recap: Pacifica Takes a Loss

Pacifica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ventura Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tritons of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Pacifica started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-22, 25-18, 25-20.

Pacifica's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Ventura, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Pacifica does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ventura, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Fillmore at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
