Soccer Game Preview: Mill River vs. Proctor

The Mill River Minutemen will head out to challenge the Proctor Phantoms at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Saturday, Mill River didn't have quite enough to beat Mt. St. Joseph Academy and fell 2-1. The loss continues a trend for Mill River in their meetings with Mt. St. Joseph Academy: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Proctor lost 5-1 to West Rutland on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Proctor can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Vermont soccer rankings (they are ranked 50th, while West Rutland are ranked seventh).

Mill River's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Proctor, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7-1.
