Basketball Recap: North Port Takes a Loss

North Port lost against Booker back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The North Port Bobcats fell 58-50 to the Booker Tornadoes. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Booker's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from J.P Lattimore, who posted 14 points. That's the most points Lattimore has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Perets, who put up 14 points.

North Port's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Booker, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

North Port didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-40 loss against Key West on the 7th. As for Booker, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 55-45 victory against Venice on the 6th.
