Basketball Recap: Milan Comes Up Short

Milan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 66-52 bruising from the Peabody Golden Tide. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 380th, while the Golden Tide are ranked 63rd).

Milan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Peabody, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-4.

Looking ahead, Milan will square off against Ripley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Peabody, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
