Basketball Recap: Decatur Comes Up Short

Decatur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 74-15 loss at the hands of the Gravette Lions. The Bulldogs lost against the Lions in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 50-39 score last time.

Decatur's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Gravette, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Decatur will square off against Thaden at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gravette, they will face off against Mountainburg at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
