Baseball Recap: Alameda Triumphs

Alameda picked up another tournament win on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Head-Royce Jayhawks, sneaking past 5-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Alameda's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Head-Royce, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-3 record.

Coincidentally, Alameda and Head-Royce will both be playing Piedmont the next time they take the field. The Jayhawks will head out to face the Highlanders at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Hornets will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th.
