Provo hadn't done well against Brighton recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bengals. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Nevaeh Magalei paced Provo's offense, picking up 17 kills. Magalei got some help from Meliana Chrisman and her 28 assists. Chrisman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Provo's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Brighton, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Provo has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Canyon View on the 6th. As for Brighton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Hurricane on the 6th.
