Bradenton Christian is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Monday. They came up short against Seffner Christian, falling 20-10. Even if the Panthers couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Matthew Johnson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Bradenton Christian is 4-2 when Johnson posts two or more runs, but 5-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Connor Henderson, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Keswick Christian had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let Saint Stephen's Episcopal get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Friday. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Jackson Sullivan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Keswick Christian got a massive performance out of Caleb Stratis, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs Stratis has posted since back in February. Javan Gipson was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
Keswick Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are 5-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Bradenton Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Keswick Christian, the win got them back to even at 12-12.
Bradenton Christian suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Keswick Christian in their previous matchup back in March of 2021. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
