Soccer Game Preview: Aldine vs. Spring

Aldine has gone 9-1 against Spring recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mustangs will host the Lions at 6:45 p.m. Aldine is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.

Aldine is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Monday, they were much more limited against Eisenhower on Friday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1.

Aldine's goal came courtesy of Gewlaymi Gonzalez, who's now up to 29 this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Spring faced off against Nimitz on Friday. The Lions beat the Cougars by a goal, winning 2-1. Spring haven't had any issues with Nimitz recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Aldine now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Spring, their win bumped their record up to 8-5-1.

Aldine got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March of 2025 against Spring by a conclusive 9-1 score. In that match, the Mustangs amassed a halftime lead of 5-1, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
