Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Martinsville). They took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 99-4 win over the Apple Springs Eagles. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 672nd, while the Eagles are ranked 1426th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Martinsville has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.9 points per game. As for Apple Springs, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
