Basketball Recap: Nevada Comes Up Short

Nevada lost against Kirby back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Nevada Blue Jays came up short against the Kirby Trojans, falling 52-28. The Blue Jays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nevada's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Kirby, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nevada will take on Blevins at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kirby, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dierks at 6:00 p.m. on February 11th.
