Volleyball Recap: Wendover Comes Up Short

Wendover lost against Escalante back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Moquis. Wildcats fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Moquis since Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20.

Wendover has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Escalante, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-7 record.

Wendover has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Rowland Hall on the 20th. As for Escalante, they will square off against Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
