Basketball Game Preview: Grapevine Mustangs vs. Colleyville Heritage Panthers

Grapevine and Colleyville Heritage are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Grapevine Mustangs will venture away from home to challenge the Colleyville Heritage Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grapevine is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Grapevine ended up a good deal behind Richland and lost 60-46.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Colleyville Heritage, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Richland on Saturday, sneaking past 66-63. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since January 9, 2024.

The victory got Colleyville Heritage back to even at 12-12. As for Grapevine, their loss dropped their record down to 11-14.

Grapevine lost to Colleyville Heritage on the road by a decisive 68-51 margin when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Grapevine avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
