The Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls will head out to challenge the St. Joseph's Prep Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Archbishop Ryan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

Archbishop Ryan is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Saturday, they were much more limited against La Salle College on Monday. They came up short against the Explorers, falling 10-2. The Raiders and Ragdolls have struggled against the Explorers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Archbishop Ryan saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Lahiff, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. That's the most RBI Lahiff has posted since back in May of 2024.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph's Prep narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Germantown Academy 3-2.

Kieran Lodewick tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero).

The victory got St. Joseph's Prep back to even at 2-2. As for Archbishop Ryan, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Archbishop Ryan came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Joseph's Prep when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 4-2. Will Archbishop Ryan repeat their success, or does St. Joseph's Prep has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
