Basketball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 67-57 to the Tigard Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Quakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Tigers are ranked 57th).

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Tigard, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin will head out to face off against Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tigard, they will take on Forest Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Tigard's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matches.
