Softball Recap: Powhatan Indians vs. Thomas Dale Knights
There's no place like home for Powhatan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Thomas Dale Knights with a sharp 9-2 victory on Monday. Considering the Indians have won five matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Brooklyn Narbut tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over 6.1 innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game.
