Bonneville came out on top against Hillcrest  on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run fifth inning. The Bees were the clear victors by  an  11-1 margin over the Knights. Considering the Bees have won 14 matches by more than seven  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Jackson Ropp tossed a big game,   striking out eight batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Bonneville let  Gavin Webb and  Carter Bowen run wild. Webb  went 1-for-2 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double, while  Bowen  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. That's the most  runs  Bowen has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Taye Lords, who  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  double.
 Bonneville  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .562. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hillcrest only posted  an  OBP of  .263.
The  win (which was Bonneville's fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-3. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Hillcrest, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record  this season.
As of now, neither Bonneville nor Hillcrest have any future games scheduled.
