Baseball Recap: St. Clair Comes Up Short

St. Clair blew Grosse Pointe North out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Grosse Pointe North got their revenge. The Saints fell just short of the Norsemen by a score of 4-2. The Saints were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Norsemen earlier this season, when they won 7-1.

St. Clair has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Grosse Pointe North, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-19-1.

While St. Clair had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
