Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Legacy). They never let the Horizon Hawks get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Tuesday. Given Legacy's advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked fifth, while Horizon are ranked 134th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Legacy hit Horizon with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Landon Sullivan (2), Tyler Stephens, and Alinze Varella.

The victory keeps Legacy at an undefeated 11-0-3. As for Horizon, they dropped their record down to 3-10-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Legacy will challenge Erie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Erie's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Horizon, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Fairview on the 22nd.
