Basketball Recap: 11 Straight Home Wins for Mclean

McLean had won ten straight home games dating back to last season and Kasidy Russell did her part to make it 11 on Friday. The McLean Tigers blew past the Lefors Pirates 80-33 thanks in part to Russell, who almost dropped a double-double on 44 points and nine boards. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of McLean's points.

Hailo Moon was another key player, putting up eight points and 13 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last ten games she's played.

McLean's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Lefors, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

McLean will take on Shamrock in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McLean is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.1 points per game this season. Lefors and Hedley will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
