Softball Recap: South Fork Starts Season with Victory on the Road

South Fork had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victor by a 13-2 margin over the Upper Lake Cougars.

The team relied heavily on Kendall Kercher, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Hailey SHepHerd was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

South Fork has already played their next match, a 4-3 win against Chester on the 7th. As for Upper Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 33-11 victory against Technology on the 7th.
