Baseball Recap: Danbury Comes Up Short

Danbury lost against Calvert back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lakers lost 11-1 to the Senecas.

Danbury saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Shepherd, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Danbury has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Calvert, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Danbury didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Northwood on the 18th. Calvert has also already played their next contest (against Genoa Area), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
