Football Game Preview: Uxbridge vs. Prouty

Uxbridge will challenge Prouty on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Uxbridge have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Prouty are surely hoping to exploit.

Things haven't been easy for Uxbridge, and their match last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to three. They were dealt a punishing 0-41 defeat at the hands of Grafton Memorial. Uxbridge were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-35.

Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Prouty lost to Oxford last Saturday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 6-46. Prouty were down by 6-39 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
