Ridgeview is 9-1 against Mountain View since May of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Ravens will look to defend their home field against the Cougars at 4:30 p.m.

Ridgeview is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Caldera just ended the team's ten-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against Caldera, falling 17-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Mountain View won against Crook County on Friday with 13 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Cougars blew past Bend 13-2. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by eight runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Cadence Kennedy, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Kallie Eckman, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles.

Mountain View hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive contests.

Mountain View's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Ridgeview, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-6.

Ridgeview came out on top in a nail-biter against Mountain View in their previous meeting two weeks ago, sneaking past 9-8. Do the Ravens have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
