The Lansing Lions are taking a road trip to take on the Seaman Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Lansing is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their match at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 63-0 win over West. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Lansing's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaxon Pollard, who rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. Aj Allen did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 120 receiving yards.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Lansing was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 235 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Lansing's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Makhi Butler.

Meanwhile, while Seaman put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Turner. Seaman blew past Turner 49-0 on the road. That 49 point margin sets a new team best for the Vikings this season.

Max Huston continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 276 yards and four touchdowns on only 18 passes, while also rushing for 67 yards and a touchdown. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 57 yards. Bryer Finley was Huston's top target, picking up 148 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Seaman wouldn't let Turner keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Seaman can thank Breckan Andrews and Cameron Brian for forcing both of them. Brian is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season.

Lansing's record now sits at 3-1. As for Seaman, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Lansing was able to grind out a solid win over Seaman in their previous meeting back in September of 2023, winning 28-21. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Huston, who rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 236 yards and two touchdowns. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Lansing still be able to contain Huston? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
