Softball Recap: Jackson City Takes a Loss

Jackson City lost against Jenkins back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers lost 17-2 to the Cavaliers.

Jackson City saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shy-Ann Little, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Jackson City has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Jenkins, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 15-7 record.

Jackson City has already played their next contest (against Phelps), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Jenkins, they will head out on the road to square off against Knott County Central at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
