Huntington North has gone a perfect 8-0 against Woodlan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Vikings will venture away from home to face off against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Huntington North has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while Woodlan will arrive with four straight victories.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Huntington North's offense. They came up short against Fort Wayne Northrop on Tuesday, falling 15-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodlan). They were the clear victors by a 22-2 margin over Fort Wayne Northrop on Wednesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Woodlan's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Huntington North, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything went Huntington North's way against Woodlan in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, as Huntington North made off with a 9-3 victory. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
