It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Stringer had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Salem Wildcats with a sharp 12-2 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Red Devils, who have now won 12 matchups in a row.

Madilyn Graham made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up a single earned run in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one RBI.

In other batting news, Jaycee Holifield was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Ava Jefcoat was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Stringer always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Salem only posted an OBP of .269.

Stringer's record now sits at 19-3-2. As for Salem, they moved to 17-12 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Stringer will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
