Softball Recap: San Juan Spartans vs. Lindhurst Blazers

San Juan extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 2-14 in the process. They lost 20-6 to the Lindhurst Blazers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blazers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-3 on Monday.

As for Lindhurst, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5. Considering they have won 12 contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

For Lindhurst's part, they let Kimberly Diaz-Valadez and Summer Miller run wild. Diaz-Valadez went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base, while Miller went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Diaz-Valadez continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jasmine Ortiz, who went 2-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.

As of now, neither San Juan nor Lindhurst have any future games scheduled.
