 Riverview fell victim to Sickles and their airtight pitching crew  on Saturday. They wound up on the wrong side of a  rough 7-0 walloping at the hands of the Sickles Gryphons. Riverview has not had much luck with Sickles recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
 For Sickles' part,  Jake Taylor tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out six over five innings pitched.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Cameron Guise, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 1-for-3.  Emilio Salgado was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Riverview's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Sickles, the  victory was  the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-3.
 Riverview will be playing in front of their home fans against Durant at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Durant's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5  runs per game  this season, so Riverview's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Sickles, they will head out on the road to  take on  Plant at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Sickles is looking to tack on another W to their 18-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
