MaxPreps/OACA 2014-15 Oregon high school girls basketball players of the week

MaxPreps and the Oregon Athletic Coaches Association (OACA) select the top girls basketball performance in the state each week. Only players with stats on MaxPreps are eligible.

Name: Mariah Stacona
School:
Madras

Stacona led Madras to three victories over Crook County (37-32), Molalla (41-28) and Corbett 62-37 improving the team's season record to 16-9 and league record to 9-2. She scored 58 points and had 14 assists plus 14 steals in the three wins.

Burns

Clemens led the Highlanders to two victories over Imbler and Cove. She scored 39 points, had 19 rebounds, nine steals and nine assists as Burns improved its record to 18-5 on the season and 12-0 in league.

Anderson scored 40 points, had 28 rebounds and seven steals in Willamina’s games last week. Willamina’s season record is 13-8 and 7-5 in league.

Scoggin led the Wildcats in their games vs. Jesuit and Sunset by scoring 50 points, grabbing 12 rebounds and had nine steals in the two games.

Webster helped improve Gladstone’s season record to 13-3 by leading the Gladiators to two victories over Crook County and Madras. She scored 43 points, grabbed nine rebounds and had five steals on the week.

Guild scored 38 points, had 14 rebounds and seven assists in leading the Royals to two wins over Clatskanie and Portland Adventist Academy.

Waiwaiole led the Cardinals to three league victories over Franklin, Roosevelt and Jefferson. She scored 46 points and had 28 rebounds in the three wins, improving their season record to 7-4.

Name: Mikala Mohr
School: North Valley (Grants Pass)



Mohr led North Valley to three victories over Illinois Valley, South Umpqua and Sweet Home as she had double-doubles in all three games. She scored 12/25/19 points and had 11/15/10 rebounds, respectively, in the three games.
