Liberty waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 53-42 win over the Summers County Bobcats. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 75-47 loss the last time these two teams met.

Liberty's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Riley Marty, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. Liam Daniels was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 17 points and nine boards.

Liberty now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Summers County, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Liberty didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-35 defeat against James Monroe on the 17th. As for Summers County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 78-72 win against Greenbrier West on the 17th.
