Basketball Recap: Rosemont Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Rosemont, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 66-57 win over the Bradshaw Christian The Pride on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wolverines as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Ja'Monte Cole was his usual excellent self, going 7 for 11 en route to 18 points along with eight assists and six steals. Gus Bailey was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten boards.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Rosemont was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bradshaw Christian only racked up nine assists.

Several The Pride players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carson Fitzpatrick, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Sam Amezcua, who had ten points.

Rosemont's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Bradshaw Christian, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Rosemont will face off against Galt at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rosemont is facing Galt at the right time seeing as Galt is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. Bradshaw Christian has already played their next game, a 66-58 defeat against Bear Creek on the 27th.
