Maple Grove waltzed into their game on Wednesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They came out on top against the Buffalo Bison by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Crimson, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Maple Grove walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-12, 25-17, 23-25, 25-17.

Maple Grove was led to victory by Mckinley Hardle and Amanda Swiers. Hardle had 13 digs and three aces, while Swiers had 26 assists and three digs. What's more, Hardle racked up six assists, the most she's had over her last eight matches. Callie Reed also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Maple Grove was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Maple Grove's record now sits at 14-3. As for Buffalo, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maple Grove will head out to take on Champlin Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Buffalo, they will venture away from home to face off against Monticello at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
