Softball Recap: Arvin's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Arvin entered their tilt with Del Oro on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Suns 14-4. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Arvin pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.7 runs over those games. As for Del Oro, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Arvin and Golden Valley will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. The Bears will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests. As for Del Oro, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Foothill at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.31 runs per game on average), something the Suns will no doubt try to take advantage of.
