Volleyball Recap: Hinsdale Central's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Hinsdale Central can bid farewell to their seven-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Willowbrook Warriors. For the Red Devils, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Hinsdale Central not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Willowbrook between 17 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Willowbrook still got an impressive performance from Tess Doyle, who had nine digs and one assist.

Hinsdale Central's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Willowbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.

Hinsdale Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against York on the 30th. As for Willowbrook, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Fenton on the 29th.
