Soccer Recap: Schalmont Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Schalmont was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Averill Park Golden Knights finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw on Thursday.

Schalmont's goal came courtesy of Joel Kushner, who's now up to two this season.

Schalmont's draw makes their record 9-2-1 this season. As for Averill Park, they moved theirs to 1-6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Schalmont will welcome Albany Academy for Boys at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Averill Park, they will be playing at home against Shenendehowa at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
