Basketball Recap: Lee-Scott Academy's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lee-Scott Academy extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 4-5. They came out on top against the Valley Rams by a score of 70-63. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by exactly seven points.

Lee-Scott Academy found their leader in sophomore Clarke Ivatt, who dropped a double-double with 33 points and 15 boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ivatt has scored all season. Sutton Lewis was another key player, putting up ten points and eight rebounds.

Lee-Scott Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Valley fell to 3-1. The loss was their first of the season.

Despite the loss, Valley still got an impressive performance from Kayden Dooley, who dropped a double-double with 48 points and ten boards. Dooley has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 16 times she's played. Another player making a difference was K'Leigha Kyles, who posted seven points along with six rebounds and five steals.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lee-Scott Academy will face off against Auburn at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Valley, they will take on Loachapoka at 4:30 p.m. on the 11th.
